Twitter has rate limits in place to manage the volume of requests made to its API

These limits are based on a time interval, with the most common request limit interval being fifteen minutes.

Recently, Twitter also announced that users would be limited to viewing a set number of posts.

Verified users will be allowed to see 10,000 tweets per day, while unverified users get just 1,000. New accounts that aren’t verified will get to view just 500 posts per day
